I salute Shaun McKinnon’s series of articles in the Arizona Republic … and I draw your attention to his offering of 6-25-08, but, before I can believe what is printed, I wonder if someone might explain the following to me…?

It is my understanding the chickens which are processed for meat that come from Hickman Egg farm and purchased by Az. Dept of Corrections have on the side of the boxes a warning not fit for human consumption….? If this is correct, how then can the manure be certified as ORGANIC but the CHICKEN MEAT LABELED UNFIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION…?

There seems to me, based on the information I have there is a bit of a divergence.

Perhaps there is a very logical explanation and honestly await a reply.
