Within the next ten years doubling of your monthly water and sewer fees will be a gift…?

Make no mistake the move to privatize what at one time were municipal (that’s you and me) owned water and sewage facilities has now become profit domain of “corporatists.” Multi-national “corporate” entities utilizing many different “cover” names now own and control much of the water and sewage facilities in our State. Your legislators and council members will inform you they are only operating these facilities under contractual agreements with the city.

Like “Deep Throat” said in …. All the Present’s Men … follow the money. Our prevailing ethic is … “he who has the gold, rules” … Guess who has your gold …?

Our prevailing economic mantra in Arizona, sanctioned by our elected politicians, corporatists, especially developers and their lobbyists, is … “damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead with unrestricted growth” …

Get your head out of the sand – ostrich – and stand up and take a good hard long look around you. You may be surprised at what you see and in the process a new awareness or a personal epiphany might occur.
