EPA drags heels, no one's surprised
Congressmen, state AG figured federal agency would not follow orders …By FRANK DAVIES …MediaNews Washington Bureau… Article Created: 06/09/2007 11:16:36 AM PDT

WASHINGTON - In a sharp exchange with House Democrats, the chief of the Environmental Protection Agency Friday said he would not decide whether to issue regulations controlling greenhouse gas emissions from vehicles until late next year.
EPA Administrator Stephen Johnson also refused to tell the House special committee on global warming when he would decide whether to grant California the permission to enforce its own, more stringent tailpipe emissions standards.
The Supreme Court ruled two months ago that the EPA has the authority to regulate such emissions, but Johnson said that compliance would take until the end of 2008 because "we're moving forward in a thoughtful, deliberative manner, looking at every appropriate option."

Gee, is anyone surprised that George W. Bush’s and his “corporate” controlled EPA minions are choosing to drag their heels on whether to issue regulations controlling greenhouse gas emissions from vehicles until late 2008…?

Let’s see, George’s science comes from ExxonMobil, George’s Dad is in bed with the Saudi royal family, George’s brain, Dick Cheney was President of Halliburton and George’s best friend is “Bandar” Bush, the Saudi ambassador to the US. Why would anyone expect anything different from Bush…?

Bush’s EPA administrator Stephan Johnson reports … “we're moving forward in a thoughtful, deliberative manner, looking at every appropriate option”... now if you choose to believe that, I’ve got some ocean front property in Arizona to sell you.
